QliQ delivered LinkedIn Outreach and Google Ads campaigns to help chemist Boots raise awareness of their flu vaccination services for business. The goal was to generate online customer bookings for flu vaccinations at any of the 2,500 Boots stores across the UK.
Boots is the UK’s largest pharmacy-led health and beauty chain, with 2,500 stores ranging from local community pharmacies to large destination health and beauty shops.
Boots chose QliQ to raise awareness of its flu vaccination service for business. The goal was to generate online appointments with business customers whose staff wanted to receive a flu vaccination at a local Boots store.
It was crucial that this LinkedIn Outreach campaign met the Boots brand guidelines, so QliQ’s design team worked closely with Boots to create several pieces of content – including adverts, promotional aides and product information – that was on brand and visually enticing.
A series of ads were launched within the LinkedIn newsfeed, targeting organisations whose staff were statistically more likely to be interested in flu vaccination. Ads were shown to decision makers at these organisations as they browsed LinkedIn (both on desktop and mobile devices).
Several ad variations were tested to determine which messages resonated most effectively with the target audience. Media budget was then prioritised towards the best performing ads. The campaign reached more than 11,000 decision makers, providing a welcome boost to Boots’ inbound enquiries.
As well as generating a significant volume new business opportunities, the campaign boosted brand awareness for Boots within a highly targeted audience of decision makers.
