QliQ delivered Pay Per Click and LinkedIn Ads campaigns to help high street chemist Boots raise awareness of their flu vaccination service. The campaign’s goal was to generate customer bookings for flu vaccinations in any of the 2,500 Boots stores across the UK.
Boots is the UK’s largest pharmacy-led health and beauty chain, with 2,500 stores providing thousands of products from vitamins and minerals to reading glasses and flu vaccinations.
Boots chose QliQ to deliver a campaign to raise awareness of its flu vaccination service. The goal was to generate appointments with customers who wanted a flu vaccination at their local Boots store.
It was crucial that we designed a series of adverts which met the Boots brand guidelines, so QliQ’s design team worked closely with Boots to create a series of ads that were both on brand and visually enticing.
A series of display ads were launched through our ad partners, targeting individuals who were statistically more likely to need a flu vaccination. Ads were shown to users as they browsed LinkedIn both on desktop and mobile devices.
Several ads were tested to determine which message resonated most effectively with the target audience. Ad spend was then prioritised towards the best performing ads. The campaign reached over 11,000 decision makers, providing a welcome boost to Boots’ inbound enquiries.
The campaign was successful in generating new business for Boots as well as creating significant brand awareness in a tightly defined and relevant demographic.
